THREE rounds of the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar series remain, with two of those shows being at the Perth Motorplex this Friday and Saturday nights.
These shows coincide with the final two nights of the World Series Sprintcars campaign, with plenty at stake in both championship battles.
The final round of the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series will be held at the Krikke Boys event at Bunbury Speedway, the following Saturday, March 2.
In the local series Jason Kendrick still leads the points on 2136 from Jamie Maiolo on 2052 and Brad Maiolo on 2018.
Kendrick was a non-finisher in last week’s feature race at Albany but he managed to increase his points lead as the Maiolos were both non-starters, crashing out in the heat races.
Kaiden Manders still holds down fourth place on 1934 points after his sixth at Albany.
Kye Scroop is fifth on 1742 after claiming 15th place points at Albany.
Andrew Priolo, 14th in points at Albany last week, is sixth on 1590, just in front of Tom Payet on 1582, Taylor Milling 1386, Ben Ellement 1204 and Jason Pryde 1192 who round out the top 10.
Of the local drivers in the Albany round last week Ellement was the highest placed, taking a strong fourth.
