After two days of intense drag racing action, but also battles with the weather, the Home Group WA Nitro Slam was cut short by a late rain shower on Saturday night.
With track temperature rapidly falling, the track was not able to be dried safely and the decision was made to bring an early end to the first 400 Thunder Series event held in WA.
Pro Slammer and Top Bike both finished their first rounds and competitors were consulted about a completion of eliminations at a later stage. The decision was made to complete both the Pro Slammer and Top Bike semi final and final rounds at the Westernationals on February 5-6, 2016.
For Perth Motorplex track championship brackets, the event has been declared and they will return to race at the next round, the Night of Fire on December 28.
For spectators, keep a hold of your tickets and check motorplex.com.au in coming days for information about returning to an upcoming event.
