Carson Macedo will be at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night to drive the W17 that was originally to be driven by Luch Monte.
Monte has decided to draft the 19-year-old into the car for a one-off appearance on the back of the Californian wrapping up a short tour in the eastern states.
Macedo rose to prominence when he won the Gold Cup Race of Champions that was part of the World of Outlaws series, at Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway in 2014.
Last year he won the King of the West Sprintcar Series in California.
In 2015 Macedo had two wins, 18 top fives and 24 top 10s for the ultra-competitive Tarlton Motorsport operation.
How will he go against the best 360 drivers in Western Australia?
Be at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night to find out.
