That’s the equation as we head into the DiCandilo Steel City Australian Late Model Championship at the Perth Motorplex this Friday and Saturday nights.
An impressive 49 drivers from around the country are in town for the two-night showdown to determine who will be #1 for the next 12 months.
Queenslander Darren Kane heads up the field and will be looking to win the title he won from Perth’s Jamie Oldfield and New South Welshman Ben Nicastri at the Kingaroy track last season.
Other interstate drivers include Stuey Hill (SA), Ron Pyne, David Doherty, Bruce MacKenzie, Ben Nicastri (NSW) and Cameron and Justin Pearson (Vic).
They will be taking on a star-studded field of locals including Brad Blake, Kodee Brown, Craig Vosbergen, Marc Giancola, Jamie and Warren Oldfield, Brad Ludlow, Ryan Halliday and many more.
Friday night’s racing will also include the Pool Shop Group Speedcars and Alltools Formula 500s with the Formula 500s and Wormall Civil Sprintcars being part of Saturday night action.
