The 8th season of Drag Racing bursts into life on Saturday 3rd November 2007 with the Coates season opener. Big fields are also expected in all brackets including GT Radials Top Competition, Pro Auto Performance Super Comp, Trophy Specialist Competition Bike, Genie Performance Exhaust Supercharged Outlaws, VEEM Modified Eliminator, Stone Racing Transmissions Super Sedan, Highway Yamaha Modified Bike, Southside Engine Centre Super Street and Butler Built Junior Dragster. The 2007/2008 Drag Racing season opener kicks off with spectator gates opening at 11:00am with qualifying from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Group 3 eliminations commence at 4:10pm. The two all supercharged eliminators - GT Radial Top Comp and Genie Exhaust Supercharged Outlaws hit the track at 6:00pm, 8:00pm and 10:00pm.
