Autotrader Fast Fridays are back!
Popular with racers and spectators alike they will be held over 6 Friday nights during the 2008/2009 season.
Round 5 will be held on Friday night 13 March.

The combination of Sportsman Speedway and Drag Racing categories gives fans a unique opportunity to witness both
types of Motorsport on the one night! This means twice the action, twice the excitement and twice the fun all for
one price!! |
Competitor Entry opens for both Speedway and Drag Racing
from 3.00pm.
Spectator gates open at 5.00 pm and racing action getting underway at 6.00pm.
For spectators this means great racing on either side of the Perth Motorplex with wheels up action on the drag
strip and wheel to wheel action on the high banked speedway. |

Up to 250 plus race teams can compete on any given Autotrader Fast Friday so you just know you are going to get
the best bang for your hard earned dollar!

SPEEDWAY DIVISIONS
There are a large range of Speedway divisions competing including 360 Sprintcars, Our Car Autos NOS Sprints, Super
6 Sedans, 320 & Limited Sprintcars, Hydraulink WA AMCA National's, V8 Dirt Modified's, Street Stock, Production
Sedans, Solos and Junior Sedans... |

At the same time on the other side of the venue, the Perth Motorplex quarter mile Drag Racing will be on in earnest
as the Fast Friday night action continues with ANDRA licenced Modified, Nostalgia Cars, Super Sedan, Super Streeters
and Modified Bikes going head to head in the Sportsman eliminators while the Off Street brigade will be battling
it out in OZ EFI, Sports Compact, Street and Street Bike. |

As always the Junior Dragster racers are always on hand to show our younger fans that you don't have to be old
to go fast! |

All you need to compete in the Street Brackets is a roadworthy (unlicenced ok) muffled Street Car or Bike and clothing requirements as
below;
Road worthy closed cars (Sedans/Utes
etc) Min clothing, a helmet and long
sleeves, long pants and enclosed footware.
Road worthy open cars (convertibles/roadsters)
slower than 12.99 seconds (1/4mile)/8.50
(1/8mile). Min clothing, a helmet leather jacket or bike jacket with appropriate inserts, full face helmet and
visor full leather gloves long pants and shoes and socks.
Road worthy open cars (convertibales/roadsters)
faster than 12.99 seconds (1/4mile)/8.50
(1/8mile). As per ANDRA rules ie: roll cage, arm restraints, harness, etc
All Motorcycle riders need a recognised riding jacket with appropriate protection
inserts, or leather riding jacket, long pants ankle length boots full leather motorcycle riding gloves as minimum
or preferably full bike riding leathers.
All drivers and riders must hold or
have held a civil drivers licence.
Sportsman, purpose built Nostalgia Cars and Junior Dragsters must comply to ANDRA Safety requirements for their
respective classes.
Please note under
18's must have parents consent to race.

| Drag Racing qualifying will commence at 6:00pm with
Eliminations starting at approximately 7:30pm. And for those who don't wish to do Eliminations or those who get
knocked out early there is usually plenty of time for Grudge Racing! |
