OFF STREET DRAG RACING AND BURNOUTS!

Yes, Genie Exhaust Whoop Ass Wednesdays are back bigger and better than ever! There will be heaps of racing, heaps of burnouts, the Reaction Time Competition returns with over $500 in cash up for grabs each week, there will be action on the big screen plus more. So if you have had enough of hibernating - get you and your mates in your car and get yourself down to the Perth Motorplex for a little street action.

During the season there will not only be off street racing and burnouts on the Drag Strip - but there will also be a range of activities on the Speedway. On different Wednesday nights there will be Speedway practice, Dirt Karts and AutoX - Dirt Drifting. First cab off the rank will be the Speedway teams practising for the start of their season in October. The introduction of the reaction time competition last season was certainly popular with over $21,000 in cash prizes being distributed. The competition returns this season and is open to all racers who compete at the Genie Exhaust Whoop Ass Wednesdays. It is run between 6pm and approximately 9pm. The winner each week will receive $300 in Cash, the Runner up $150 and the third best reaction time will receive $50! If the winner records a perfect reaction time of 0.000 he or she will receive a bonus $100. If the perfect reaction time is not acheived the bonus will jackpot by $100 each week until it is achieved. The Jackpot then returns to $100 for the following week. It is that easy.

For those wishing to try out their car or bike, Genie Exhaust Whoop Ass Wednesday legal Off Street Racing is just the thing for everyone wishing to experience the thrill of Drag Racing without the pressure of competition. You can race whenever you want and whoever you want. It is a great opportunity to race your mates or partners (yeah girls its not just for the guys!!!) in a controlled and safe environment ... All you need to compete is a roadworthy (unlicenced ok) muffled Street Car or Bike and clothing requirements as below; Road worthy closed cars (Sedans/Utes etc) Min clothing, a helmet and long sleeves, long pants and enclosed footware. Road worthy open cars (convertibles/roadsters) slower than 12.99 seconds (1/4mile)/8.50 (1/8mile). Min clothing, a helmet leather jacket or bike jacket with appropriate inserts, full face helmet and visor full leather gloves long pants and shoes and socks. Road worthy open cars (convertibales/roadsters) faster than 12.99 seconds (1/4mile)/8.50 (1/8mile). As per ANDRA rules ie: roll cage, arm restraints, harness, etc All Motorcycle riders need a recognised riding jacket with appropriate protection inserts, or leather riding jacket, long pants ankle length boots full leather motorcycle riding gloves as minimum or preferably full bike riding leathers. You can race your car or bike as many times as you wish and you will find the staff on hand only too willing to ensure that your experience here at Perth Motorplex is an enjoyable one. To ensure everyone gets a number of runs each Wednesday - entries are restricted to 160, however those missing out will be given a voucher that will guarantee that they get to race on the following Wednesday night.

And for those wishing to take on the Hankook Tyres 'Snake Pit' burnout pad there is ample opportunity at around 9pm. The first 5 racers to nominate on Genie Exhaust Whoop Ass Wednesdays for duties on the 'Snake Pit' will have a ball smoking up their tyres in front of their friends. The winner will receive a Trophy and Free Entry to a Genie Exhaust Whoop Ass Wednesday event during the season.
