SUPER SPEEDWAY
AUSTRALIAN LATE MODEL NATIONALS
& WA SPEEDCAR CHAMPIONSHIP

Speedway's most powerful division the awesome Late Models will do battle on Saturday night March 14 for the right to wear the coveted Australian number 1 on the side of the race car for the next 12 months.

So what's on this event that makes us so excited you ask? Late Models

Well let's take a look...

Competing in the Australian Late Model Nationals National Champion Brad Ludlow is looking forward to defending the title he sensationally won last January for the very first time.

It a race that many are saying was one of the best Sedan races ever seen Brad chased his father Ben down late in the 30 lap race to steal victory and create history in an emotional son and father 1 – 2 finish.

The Ludlow family we’re invited to the US Late Model Nationals during our off season and handled themselves with distinction in representing their country.

Arguably the countries fastest Late Model racer Craig Vosbergen will be hunting down the opposition to ensure he gets name on the trophy for the first time. Just a little bit of luck and who knows what can happen for the hard charger.

Western Australia leads the way in Late Model competition with Brad Blake rated as the best driver in Australia after dominating the super tough Perth Motorplex Track Championship for four years in succession and despite having a tough year by his standards you can be sure that the ‘O’ Show will be towards the top end of the field come Saturday.

Speedway Sedan legend Ben Ludlow having raced in the US during the off-season to further develop his racing ability is expected to be at the sharp end as the night progresses.

A full list of entrants will be uploaded here when nominations close.

A full supporting program of open when Sprintcars, plus virtual shootout of Sedans with Super Sedans, Modified Sedans and the stars of the future in the Junior Sedans.

Now if this is not enough The Wild and Wingless Speedcars will battle it out for Western Australian State Championship Glory and last summers winner Neville Lance is looking for another record breaking run.
On paper multiple WA Speedcar Champion Scott Glazebrook will be the thorn in Lance’s side however you can expect to see a large field of the some of the nation’s best battling it out for state championship pride.
