Farrell is already the most successful driver in the WA championship history with seven titles under his belt – a feat that won’t be beaten any time soon.
If he does finish on the top step of the podium this weekend it will also be his first feature race win of the season – a season that has been testing as he has settled into a new team.
Farrell has shown a lot of promise in recent outings and it goes without saying that he knows how to perform in big-time races.
Farrell is one of 26 drivers locked into the battle for the 410 championship and just to make things more interesting, he will also be contesting the TW Mechanical 360 WA title that will be held on the same night.
Fast facts: Farrell’s wins were in 1999-00, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2012-13.
