| The 26th anniversary of the King of Wings be run over two huge nights with
a whopping 45 Sprintcars nominated including number of high profile eastern states and US racers and teams. Defending King of Wings Champion Kerry Madsen was the first driver to add his name to the nomination list with the Jeff Leisk owned HSE Rental Team along with Wanless World Series champion Brooke Tatnell who has has also confirmed his entry. Tatnell will be competing in the King of Wings for the first time since he won the crown way back in 1994/95 at the now defunct Claremont Speedway. Madsden and Tatnell will be joined by multiple Australian Champion Max Dumesny, former Australian Sprintcar and Speedcar Champion Robert Farr and Queenslands Bryan Mann. Fellow interstate teams including Todd Wanless, David Murcott driving the Garry Rush Pick and Payless #2, Danny Reidy, James McFadden, Steve Lines and Glen Sutherland have added to the already bulging list of Sprintcar nominations. Americans Chad Blonde - piloting the 92.9 Kendrick Racing Sprintcar and Kaley Ghast will add a touch of International spice to this auspicious event. |
