| The Perth Motorplex is a hive of activity as cranes, forklifts, welders
and other works take place preparing for this weekends zany three hours of car carnage and pryotechics. Truckloads of cars, soil, pyrotechnics and other material are being brought into the Kwinana Beach venue transforming the Speedway infield into a mine field of metal. One of the first pieces of structure to be put into place was a 12 meter bus - on it's end! The Bus will be used in the third stunt of the night 'The Bus Stop'. The Bus Stop is just one of the five death defying stunts Kiwi Crazyman Ray Baumann will be performing during the evening. |

| STUNTS 'n' OTHER STUFF: Following are just some of the fun and games you can expect on Saturday March 29. THE HEAD BANGER Like most sportsman Ray needs to get his head into gear for the night ahead - so a little drive around the venue to check out everything is what is required. Of course you must limber up firstly to ensure you do not get any muscle strains so this is how Ray readies himself for a night of automotive mayhem. THE MONSTER CORKSCREW It's time to get serious now that Ray is all warmed up. Grab hold of the person you are sitting next to and don't blink! It's fast, it's spectacular and as for the landing? Well that's a problem! THE BUS STOP No this is not the 1960's song by the Hollies nor is it the 1980's disco song by the Fatbacks - it is a whole heap better! Ray needs to buy himself a Smartrider because he obviously does not know how to catch a bus. THE HEART STOPPER The question is who's heart? If you think Ray is trying to give himself a cardiac arrest you would be very wrong…it is your heart he is trying to stop! The heart stopper involves a little caravanning Rays Hell style. There is one thing for certain - the resale value of this caravan is about to be severely reduced. THE KAMIKAZI BOAT JUMP We all know that Perth has a shortage of boat pens and boat ramps so Ray has developed a new technique for putting his boat in the water. While it is a technique we will enjoy we think that Ray will have difficulty in obtaining his Recreational Skippers Ticket if the Department of Planning and Infrastructure get to see this! CAR FOOTBALL Those who are regular attendees of the Perth Motorplex Demolition Derbies would know that there is no love lost between Team Fanderlinden and Team Kiwi. Well the gloves are off with the two 4 car teams facing off in the first ever game of car football. Is it Aussie Rules, Soccer, League or Union? Who knows, who cares...all you know is the ball is in a whole heap of trouble! CAR DROP Do cars bounce if dropped from a great height? Well we are about to find out. But it is not a problem if it doesn't - because it is a VOLVO! JET DRAGSTER DISPLAY Fireballs, burner pops and maybe a car bbq could be in the wind when the Jet Dragster fire show is in place. FIREWORKS There will be a monster fireworks show at the end of the Rays Hell Stunt Show to finish off the great night of automotive mayhem. |
