Priolo started from pole and set the pace for the 30-lap feature race that was action-packed from the start and saw many of the big-name drivers watching from the infield.
It was a great result for the Watsons Express Transport-backed driver who paid tribute to his major supporter and event sponsors Rob and Sandra Watson who put so much into the sport here in Western Australia.
Shaun Bradford started from P8 and struck some telling blows in the final stages of the final for his second.
Maiolo was locked in an epic duel with Ryan Lancaster for third in the last few laps, getting the spot by 0.002 of a second.
Lancaster put in one hell of a drive to almost claim his first podium finish in the AHG Sprintcar Series and did it after being forced to charge from the back of the pack.
Callum Williamson bounced back strongly for fifth after starting from P17 in what was a confidence-boosting result after enduring a bone-jarring and chassis-destroying crash in Bunbury last weekend.
Mitchell Wormall started 18th and took sixth while Daryl Clayden hung on for seventh after starting alongside Priolo on the front row.
Youngsters James Inglis and Corey Hunter were eighth and ninth respectively whilst Troy Lawson was the only other finisher, taking 10th.
Ryan Farrell showed some positive signs on the night and after starting from P4 quickly moved up to second before Inglis spun around in turns 1-2 on the second lap.
As the field restarted Farrell’s #90 machine stumbled and he pulled infield.
On the next restart attempt Jamie Maiolo slid into Lee Nash, putting them both over and out for the night.
An open red light situation allowed crews such as Farrell’s the chance to keep their cars in the race but unfortunately for Farrell the effort was not rewarded with the car hitting the pits bend concrete before the next full-lap was completed.
Ken Sartori put in a monster slide job on Daryl Clayden and Ben Ellement just after the restart to claim second spot just before Farrell was out.
There were some great battles back in the pack, including Bradford and Maiolo with Bradford’s #57 machine showing no ill-signs from a damaged front wing.
Jake Beard-Miller’s horror run continued when he hit a rut in pits bend on lap six and flipped hard, heavily damaging the #32 entry.
This was on the back of several big incidents and a car fire in recent shows, testing the resolve for the young throttle stomper who had a stiff neck in the pits after the meeting.
Robert Watson junior was also out after he crashed when trying to avoid the #32 car.
Ben Ellement started from P3 and looked strong in the first 10 laps before the #44 was out with front-end damage.
Jason Kendrick had a tough night behind the wheel of the #11 machine that had coolant issues early in the night.
He started deep in the pack in the final and was then sent to the back of the field after the team changed a rear tyre during the open red light situation.
After moving his way up to sixth Kendrick also headed infield on lap 21.
Bradford was all over the back of Clayden before he made the move stick on lap 23 and then accounted for Brad Maiolo seconds later – just before Scott Chatwin attempted to ride the pits wall and put himself out of the race.
Priolo was dominant in traffic and powered away to six-second win.
Much of the focus was on the battle for the minor placings as Bradford was running out of fuel but managed to hold on for second.
