We have the Wormall Civil Sprintcars that will also be another round of the AHG Sprintcar Series, the TW Mechanical 360 Sprintcars, the Watsons Express Transport Limited Sprintcars, the Harris Engines Wingless Sprints and the Alltools Formula 500s.
This event has grown in stature over the years and it is great to have so many sprintcars in the house at the one time.
There is plenty of talent in the Wormall Civil Sprintcars with David Priolo keen for back-to-back Motorplex wins after he dominated at the Boxing Day Bonanza here last week.
It was a great result for ‘DP’ in the Watsons Express Transport-backed machine, something he will looking to repeat this Saturday night with Watsons being the event’s naming-right sponsor.
He will have some serious competition in the Watson Express Transport camp with American-based Sydneysider Ian Madsen flying back into town for another drive in the Watsons #13 machine.
When he first raced the car at the Motorplex on December 19 Madsen charged from the back of the pack to finish fourth in the feature race.
He will be challenging for outright victory this time around.
Saturday night’s main sprintcar field is: David Priolo, Andrew Priolo, Jason Kendrick, Ian Madsen, Jake Beard-Miller, Ben Butcher, Lee Nash, Ken Sartori, Shaun Bradford, Callum Williamson, Brad Maiolo, Scott Chatwin, James Inglis, Troy Lawson, Corey Hunter, Kye Scroop, Ryan Farrell, Mitchell Wormall and Jamie Maiolo.
