ANDREW Priolo will be looking for redemption when the Grand Final of World Series Sprintcars is held at the Perth Motorplex this Friday and Saturday nights after a spectacular crash ended his first night of World Series Sprintcars for the season.
Priolo and his team spent much of Sunday licking their wounds and rebuilding after he was involved in a major crash at Bunbury Speedway last Saturday night.
The impact was so hard that Priolo mounted the concrete barrier and destroyed much of the catch fence.
It took track crews some time to repair the fence but fortunately Priolo was able to work away from the big shunt, albeit a bit sore and shaken.
With a new car already built and ready to go, the team will leave no stone unturned this week in their preparation and quest to have Priolo back up to speed as quick as possible.
He is part of a very strong local contingent of drivers who have nominated and are set to take on the national and international sprintcar superstars for two nights of no-holds barred racing.
