The Sprintcars will be part of a massive night for the Grand Opening Showdown that will also include The Pool Shop Group Speedcars, Late Models, AJ Cochrane & Sons Formula 500s and Harris Engines Wingless Sprints.
And rounding out the show will be a massive Fireworks display to mark the start of the 15th season of action at the Motorplex.
That includes popular veteran Mark Wells who debuted a new chassis and paint scheme at the practice session on Wednesday night in preparation for the Grand Opening Showdown.
He will be up against plenty of other high-calibre drivers including Ryan Farrell who returns to the Diamond Bay Motorsport team after a spell from racing.
Throw in Jeff Leisk, David Priolo, Daniel Harding, Scott Reilly, Ryan Lancaster, Cameron Gessner, Daryl Clayden, Lee Nash, Kris Coyle, Shaun Bradford, Robert Watson junior, Jake Beard-Miller, Callum Williamson, Brad Maiolo, Jason Boland, Steven Ford, Carl Dowling, Kye Scroop, Daniel Keen, Jason Kendrick, Shane Norris, Jamie Maiolo and Sean Zemunik and it will be game on.
But the action doesn’t stop there with a very impressive Late Model field ready to shake the show.
With drivers such as Brad Blake, Craig Vosbergen, Ryan Ludlow, Lee Watt, Jason Oldfield, Nat Muir, Craig Greentree, Willy Powell, Warren Oldfield, Veronica McCann, Matt Goodlad, Dean King, Paul Stubber, Jai Mazzini, Marc Giancola, Jason Moyle, Jamie Oldfield, Jay Cardy, Jayden Meckenstock, Koran Atkinson, Jamie Moon, Jeremy Hale, Alec Melvin, Morgan Melvin, Michael Holmes, Rob Galloway and Ryan Halliday in the field, you know it’s going to be on for young and old.
See you trackside on Saturday night.
