If there is one speedway show you should attend this year, it is this one with 34 Sprintcar teams entered.
The AAA Metal Recycling World Series Sprintcars Grand Final will be held at Perth Motorplex this Friday and Saturday nights, and combined with two more rounds of the domestic Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series, it is going to be HUGE!!!
At least 34 local, national and international sprintcar superstars are locked into this two-night showdown where there is plenty on the line and the action is going to be epic.
James McFadden, Kerry Madsen and Brooke Tatnell, three Australian drivers who race professionally in the United States, head up the nominations and are the three leading WSS pointscorers heading into this weekend.
McFadden is on 3239 points but the gap has been reduced after Madsen won rounds in Esperance and Bunbury last weekend and is on 3213.
Tatnell is third on 2691 points and there will be plenty of interest in how this trio goes, but don’t discount others in the WSS contracted field, including Tasmanian teenager Jock Goodyer who cranked out a win here at the Motorplex two weeks ago, and American Lucas Wolfe who finished third at Bunbury last weekend.
Add in former national David Murcott, American Cory Eliason and former Aussie Lynton Jeffery who now lives in America, along with the local bridge of hotshots and it will be two amazing nights of Super Speedway.
Book your tickets online and we will see you trackside this FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights.
