Wormall Civil Partners With Perth Motorplex For New Season
The Perth Motorplex has enjoyed a strong association with Wormall Civil in recent years and is extremely excited to announce the continuation of this valued partnership for 2015/16.
A proud, WA family-owned and operated company, Wormall Civil brings a knowledgeable and committed team with ground up experience to ensure the delivery of positive outcomes for its valued clients.
The successful completion of major projects along the northern coastal strip between Perth and Geraldton as well as Pilbara and Mid and North West has firmly placed Wormall Civil as a preferred contractor with leading land developers throughout the region as well as a Tier 1 civil contractor for the state government land agency, LandCorp.
Wormall Motorpsort is another team where professionalism, commitment and expertise is demonstrated to the highest level. Wormall Motorsport has quickly become one of Australia’s premier sprintcar teams and this year boasts an impressive four car line up in speedway’s ultimate four wheeled division.
Team principal, Craig Wormall notes that while success is a clear focus for the team, it is not the primary driving force. “We are very proud how the team presents and thank everyone involved for helping us get to where we are today. It is worth noting that we are not a team solely driven by success (though we do take it when it comes our way) but more a group of mates catching up a few times a week doing something we all enjoy very much”.
In terms of the driver line up Wormall Motorsport has blended a mixture of youth and experience. Experience is delivered in spades with Lee Nash and Daryl Clayden behind the wheel of the #46 and #45 respectively, who between them have decades of speedway competition.
Stepping up from Wingless Sprintcars to the winged monsters is 18 year old young gun, Mitch Wormall, who despite limited seat time has proven extremely fast at opening events behind the wheel of the #97. Mitch’s parents, Craig and Chantelle can be found closely watching on every time the #97 takes to the track and are proud to see their son holding his own against some highly experienced rivals. “As parents, Chan and I are very proud to see our young baby face stepping up and not looking out of place in the 410’s. We wish every driver and team the best of luck for the upcoming season and hope we can all try and keep the wheels down”.
Rounding out the team is Scott Chatwin in the #79, who has embraced the significant challenge of winged sprintcar competition and is facing his rookie season head on.
