AT the Perth Motorplex we constantly showcase the best speedway drivers from around the country and occasionally from around the world.

We are in awe of their driving skills as the best of the best are able to slice their way through traffic with ease and precision, all while maintaining their composure and their high speed.

That is until we have a demolition derby.

Then all the rules are tossed in the bin as we look on in amazement at how crazy these guys are.

The demo derby teams are a wild bunch and let’s face it, you have to be living on the edge just a little bit to do what they do.

The brief is simple.

Smash up as many of your rivals as you can and try to be the last car rolling.

If that appeals to you, then you need to be at the Perth Motorplex for the traditional Boxing Day Demolition Derby that is round two of the Carbusters-backed WA Championship.

We have a strong field assembled for the bash and crash brigade and they are set to entertain you at the end of the show.

In the lead up there will be the Wormall Civil Sprintcars, Late Models, Southside Engine Centre Super Sedans, AJ Cochrane and Sons Formula 500s and Pool Shop Group Speedcars.
