If you have a classic street machine or hot rod – join in the Show ‘n Shine festivities!
You will receive a prime parking bay in the pit area and includes a $5 entry discount for the driver.
Pre Enter or just arrive at the gate in your Hot Rod, Street Machine or Classic vehicle.

Show n Shine participants have the exclusive opportunity to cruise up our iconic drag strip in front of the crowd with your family and friends!

Drag Racing

All racing is run under a Dial-Your-Own (DYO) Chicago Shootout Format

• Top Eliminator

  Supercharged or Turbocharged Dragsters, Altereds, Funny Cars and Sedans

• Middle Eliminator

  Multi class; Non-supercharged Dragsters and Altereds (either 6cyl or V8)

• Top Gas

  Naturally aspirated American or Australian Sedans only

• US Muscle

  USA origin Muscle cars with chrome bumpers

• Oz Muscle

  AUS origin Muscle cars with chrome bumpers

• Street Machine

  Steel bumpered, non-muscle cars that do not fit into US or Oz Muscle.
  eg. Modified Cortinas, Toranas and Chryslers

• Hot Rod

  Pre-1949 Streetable Hot Rods (unlicensed OK)

• Classic Bike

  Classic motorcycles representative of period (up to 1985) – no race bikes

Swap Meet

The Cranksters automotive Swap Meet will get you started, with sellers admitted from 8:00am and buyers from 8:30am.
