The Burson Auto Parts Snake Pit has been the home of wild burnouts for 25 years, and Powerpalooza is your chance to witness the madness! 20 of WA’s fiercest burnout machines will roar across the pad, bellowing smoke and shredding rubber.
And here’s the twist: The Tip-In Comp! Drivers will show off their best skills, sliding in and then shredding tires. If you’re a “skid-thusiast,” this is your moment!
3: Jet Dragster Fire Show – Feel the Heat!
The IRON HORSE Jet Dragster is back, and it’s bringing the fire—literally! Pieter De Wit will light up the night with a roaring fire show that’ll make your skin tingle. Flames will shoot 20 meters high, and the thunderous roar can be felt from hundreds of meters away. Get ready for this explosive performance just before the 7pm fireworks. Find your spot on the drag strip and prepare for the heat!
4: MONSTER FIREWORKS Spectacle
What better way to kick off the season than with a sky-splitting fireworks show? At 7pm sharp, the night will explode with a MONSTER FIREWORKS DISPLAY. It’s the perfect family-friendly celebration, lighting up the skies over the Motorplex. Grab a spot on the grassed terraces and enjoy the view!
5: High-Octane Speedway Action – 101 Teams Racing
Racing fans, this one’s for you! Watch over 100 teams compete in the opening round of the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series and other categories, including Speedcars, Late Models, Formula 500s, and Wingless Sprints. With big names like Queensland’s Ryan Newton and New Zealand’s Michael Pickens battling it out, expect some epic wheel-to-wheel action.
Racing kicks off around 4:30pm with heats and qualifying, and the main event starts after the fireworks at 7:10pm. Don’t blink—you might miss a heart-stopping moment!
