Starting from Powerpalooza VIII on October 19, Perth Motorplex speedway fans will feast their eyes on the latest addition to the venue…the brand new, permanent super screen!
Featuring over 600,000 LED’s covering the 60 square meters of surface area, the new screen is almost DOUBLE the size of the ‘old’ mobile trailer-mounted screen that has been a staple situated high above turn 2 for many years.
Specifications:
- 54 tonnes of concrete footing
- 8 tonnes of steel structure work
- 66 individual screen cabinets, each housing 18 LED screen modules
- 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio
- 608,256 LED’s
