Perth Motorplex is proud to once again be recognised as Australia’s premier Speedway venue!

For over 25 years, we’ve remained dedicated to delivering world-class motorsport experiences across Speedway, Drag Racing, and Burnouts. Our commitment to innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement has made Perth Motorplex a standout venue on the national stage.

We’re honoured to have received multiple prestigious accolades from Speedway Australia — the sport’s national governing body — including:

  • 2024 J.R. Crooke Track of The Year
  • 2023 J.R. Crooke Track of the Year
  • 2023 Innovation of the Year, for our Digital Flag System
  • 2022 Innovation of the Year, for our Infield stewarding camera CCTV system
  • 2021 J.R. Crooke Track of the Year

Last night at the Australian Speedway Awards in Brisbane, QLD, our passionate team — led by General Manager Gavin Migro — had the honour of accepting the 2025 J.R. Cooke Track of the Year award. This marks the fourth time in five years that Perth Motorplex has received this prestigious recognition – an extraordinary achievement in Australian Speedway.

This award caps off a phenomenal Speedway season at The ‘Plex, which featured major headline events such as:

  • MOBIL 1 Australian Late Model Championship
  • The Festival of Sprintcars – Featuring the Barbagallo Australian Mr. Sprintcar Nationals, Midweek Sprintcar Mayhem and the Total Tools Rockingham Krikke Boys Shootout
  • The inaugural High Limit International: Perth – the richest Speedway event in Australian history, which attracted over 27,000 fans across three unforgettable nights.
